Timeline - DALLMER - 95 years young
| 1913 | Company set up by master engraver Johannes Dallmer in Leipzig, manufacturing stamping & embossing tools, dies as well as fine lamp-engraving work |
| 1950 | Company continued by Johannes Dallmer's son, Helmuth (born 1923) manufacturing (amongst many other things) printing rollers for floor coverings and induction-tempered steel rollers for the production of paper doileys. |
| 1957 | Production of first plastic items including handles and knobs for household appliances and their moulds |
| 1963 | Concentration on drainage fittings with the first mass-produced floor drains and related fittings in plastics, initially in polyethylene, then switching to polypropylene |
| 1964 | Construction of the first factory building at the present company complex in Herdringen, near Arnsberg. Employees rapidly rose to over 100, with the expansion of its equipment and development of business in Germany and abroad |
| 1977 | Dipl.-Ing. Johannes Dallmer, son of Helmuth and grandson of the founder joins the company. |
| 1977 | Zweite Produktionslinie im veterinärmedizinischen Bereich zur Herstellung von orthopädischen Hufschuhen für huferkrankte und barfuss gehende Pferde |
| 1986 | Publication of the first formal catalogue of the range supplied, with 14 product groups covering basin-traps and roof & balcony drains through to interlocking polypropylene floor tiles |
| 1988 | Catalogue 2, in German and English follows during the 75th Jubillee year for the company, with numerous product innovations including CeraDrain for use with under-tile waterproofing. The company's first design awards are announced |
| 1990 | Design and development of the CeraDrain ® - system for under-tile waterproofing. |
| 1996 | Dallmer is represented in 14 locations in Germany with a branch office in Great Britain and distributors in over 30 countries contributing to rapidly expanding business throughout the world |
| 2001 | Dallmer creates the "Design" grating, initiating a complete industry trend |
| 2003 | Dallmer celebrates its 90th anniversary with the launch of numerous innovations including fire protection systems and electronic urinal controls |
| 2006 | Dallmer continues to develop improved designs for the level access shower market, with many new products including the very successful and multiple award-winning CeraLine shower channel |
| 2007 | Dallmer receives the iF Communication design award for its stand at the ISH exhibition in Frankfurt and the Bau event in Munich |
| 2008 | For its Zentrix floor drain, Dallmer is awarded the highest RedDot
design award, the Best of the Best , and is exhibited in the Essen
Design Museum. In November, Yvonne Dallmer joins the company, the 4th generation of the family to do so |
| 2009 | In a period of economic uncertainty, carefully themed stands at Bau, Munich and ISH, Frankfurt generate yet more interest amongst architects and consultants for Dallmer products, with the emphasis on fireproofing and sound reducing installation systems for roof and floor drains |
