There's a good stiff breeze on the hill at the PHOENIX Lake. In the south of Dortmund, on some 98 hectares of land, developers have realised an attractive conversion project that is now a great place to work, live and relax. The highlight of this urban development is the new lake. Key features of the apartment blocks are their straight-line simplicity, cubic style and interesting balconies – a thoroughly unique aesthetic quality. The stepped design of the individual storeys meant that it was not easy to ventilate the sanitation pipe system. The solution was to install modern DallVent WE air-admittance valves, which ensure the required ventilation in complex pipe systems. They are technically sophisticated, easily serviced and – as the cover can be painted – easy to visually match to their surroundings.
