The megastructure Burj Khalifa doubles as a gigantic living and working space: An incredible 828m high with 189 storeys – of which 160 are is use – it houses owner-occupied and luxury apartments, 320 Armani Hotel suites, as well exclusive offices and restaurants. This 'vertical city' is home to 12,000 residents, and is designed for a maximum capacity of 35,000 simultaneous visitors. Dallmer supplied several thousand luxurious stainless steel gratings for floor drains, including 1,320 'Quadra' series design grates and 3,310 assemblies comprising a design drain grate with an additional stainless steel cover plate.
