"Sunshine Department" is the inspiring name of the clubhouse of the "Wings for Handicapped" association – in short W4H. This is where, for more than a decade, the association has planned and prepared spectacular campaigns for children with disabilities, such as parachuting, hang gliding and diving. Initiator and driver is Jörg Leonhardt, who founded the association after he had an accident that left him paralysed. His goal, generally financed with donations and energetic press work, for the participants: provide encouragement, have fun, joie de vivre and build (self-)confidence. During the comprehensive renovation of the clubhouse, a very narrow galley bathroom built in the 1970s was converted to a barrier-free/low-barrier room. The Dallmer CeraWall Individual shower channel was fitted to drain the level access shower – tailored exactly to the width of the wall and merging discreetly into the background, it has a strong drainage capacity and is easy to clean.
