The Villengarten in the Relenberg district of Stuttgart comprises seven inner-city villas with a total of 115 apartments and the former institute building, which is a listed building. Together they form an architectural ensemble, which takes the "campus" concept one sophisticated step further. While each city villa varies in appearance thanks to the clever use of serial elements, such as graduations, loggias and floor-to-ceiling windows, overall, the villas present a homogeneous and uniform ensemble. In keeping with this coherent concept, the bathrooms were to be designed as rooms of tranquility. Key criteria during the selection of sanitation products included aesthetics, functionality, flexibility and high quality. The premium shower channel CeraWall Select made of solid stainless steel is the visual accentuation of integrated drainage in level-access showers.
