Level-access showers and drainage via shower channels are increasingly popular. With CeraLine, Dallmer has launched a product development that has won numerous design awards: iF design award 2007, Red Dot Design Award 2007, DesignPlus, Innovation Award for Architecture and Construction. Furthermore, CeraLine was also nominated for the 2008 Federal Republic of Germany Design Award and is certified acc. to DIN EN 1253. Huge recognition for consistent design, mature functionality and excellent technology.
The CeraLine shower channel offers the exclusive design of a true linear drainage system. Having deliberately avoided a surrounding frame with inserted grating, the designers reduced the purist design of this line drain to its bare essentials. The shower water just drains away through the narrow line between the cover plate and the surrounding flooring. The stark, minimalist surface, available in lengths of 500 - 1200 mm, is designed to blend seamlessly with tiles or natural stone. The stainless steel channel is just 28 mm high and fitted with a slim, 40 mm height-adjustable, stainless steel cover plate in the versions Standard, Design or Individual.
Drain and installation technology also meet the highest standards: the interior of the drain body is pre-sloped for maximum efficiency and to prevent any residual soap/dirt, the drainage rate is 48 litres per minute. Tool-free removal of the trap insert also allows quick and easy cleaning of the housing. A ball joint aids tension-free connection to the wastewater pipe, threaded levelling feet allow precise height adjustment of the channel and ensure stability during installation in the screed. A surrounding sand-coated flange ensures optimum integration in the thin mortar bed waterproofing to which the bonded waterproofing is applied acc. to the ZDB data sheet.
In order to accommodate a wider range of installation requirements, Dallmer has developed two versions of its shower channel. The CeraLine F is suitable for flush-in-floor installation, the CeraLine W – with angled, rear flange – for front-of-wall installation Both versions are available in lengths 50 - 120 cm, special lengths on request.
