At last, new products "in the flesh" - Drainage specialist Dallmer can't wait for IFH Nuremberg

At IFH-Intherm in Nuremberg, Dallmer will be showing the still very new DallDrain floor drain system for point drainage for the first time live at an HVAC trade fair. The shower gratings in the DallDrain ColourCollection range come in a choice of 16 colours to give any bathroom real eye-catching design accents. And this is just one of the new developments that the Arnsberg-based drainage specialist is taking along for its DallDrain system to Nuremberg – Hall 7A Stand 205.

Practical system upgrade: mechanical odour trap

When it comes to renovations, built-in height is often an issue, which is why very low-profile floor drains, like the DallDrain Plan from Dallmer, are important. However, the limited height always detracts from the water seal provided by the odour trap, meaning that it dries out quickly and no longer provides protection against drain odour. The new mechanical odour trap is a practical solution. It is based on a magnetic closing mechanism and works when dry, thus reliably preventing unpleasant smells. That makes it ideal for holiday homes that are not used regularly. 

CeraDrain: tried-and-tested technology with new functionality

The product has changed, the name is the same: CeraDrain. The popular floor drain from Dallmer is used in multiple shower facilities, swimming pools, hospitals and many other places. In fact, wherever sturdy design and optimum integration of the floor drain into the surrounding structure are key criteria. Installers can still rely on the familiar features, such as the polymer concrete collar, including reinforcement mesh. Now the tried-and-tested technology is combined with the benefits of the DallDrain system. Most importantly, the click-in sealing collar for clean integration into the standard-compliant seal. A special new feature is the acoustically insulated mounting bases, which can be flexibly positioned within the reinforcement mesh. That means you avoid any conflict with other pipework, and you can secure the CeraDrain drain safe from damage caused by subsequent installation work.
