Once again, the employees of the Hedring drainage specialist Dallmer used the occasion of its annual summer festival to collect donations for the Balthasar Children and Young Adults' Hospice in Olpe. This has now been a tradition for five years and to date, the donation total has increased each year.
The Balthasar Children's Hospice has eight places, the adjoining hospice for young adults a further four, for children suffering from an incurable disease. The facility was founded for them, as well as for their parents and siblings, in order to provide support in their care and other activities. "In order to provide these much-needed services, the children's hospice relies very much on donations, which is why we are so grateful for companies like Dallmer", said Lisa-Marie Vetter, director of
public relations at the Balthasar Children's Hospice.
The hospice's activities are financed up to 70% by donations. Dallmer's workforce once again gave very generously at its annual summer festival in September. The collected total was then doubled by the management, resulting in a total donation amount of €2,700. Last week, saw the presentation of a symbolic cheque to Lisa-Marie Vetter of the hospice.
